The Journey of a Lifetime
A journey is described as traveling from one place to another for a very long period of time. So if this is true, how would a journey spanning over an entire lifetime be measured?
Our life is very short compared to the expanse of time which has lapsed. Even if one considers 250 years. We are certain that there is not one person living today that was born 250 years ago. Yet imagine the people who lived and died just within the last 250 years. Now consider the lives each must have lived. How many are still remembered to this day? Can you name at least 5 individuals who have lived and died in the past 250 years from memory? Now, from those five (or less) named, how long was their life span? The longer the life spans, the longer the journey.
Consider a life centered on Biblical truth. Who in Biblical history is referred to as the “truth”? Of course the answer from Biblical text is Jesus Christ (John 14:6)! Jesus is considered the “Truth”, the Bible is considered the Word of God, and the Word of God is referred to as Jesus (John 1:1). Then, Jesus’ journey must not be completed yet, right? Now, think about this text from the Bible: “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one member’s one of another.” (Romans 12:5) If we represent Jesus Christ, then we must also be a representation of the Truth! Wow! Each person who is alive today and acknowledges the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus all have one thing in common. Are you ready for this? Their journey!
This site is meant to inspire, encourage, and build up each member of the body of Christ while we are on our journey. We will not doubtably arrive at the same destination as we trek onward with the same mission in mind: “Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers?” (Malachi 2:10)
Life’s a journey. Trek-onward for Christ!

“Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.” -I Thessalonians 5:1-11
