The Church must unite for the cause of Christ!
Those who call themselves Christians, that is followers of Jesus Christ, find themselves among many various denominations, which are variations of the Christian faith. It is so encouraging to see so much of the world profess themselves to be followers of Jesus Christ. However, as a body, we are divided to the core. We claim to have the love of Christ, yet we argue about irrelevant matters. Such matters include creation to revelation, and everything in-between. We become so focused on our differences (style of worship, ceremonial observances, fasting, praying, etc.) that we lose sight of the one very important detail of our faith. That detail is at the very core of what we call Christianity. The detail is not merely an object, thing, or even an idea, but a person. That is, the person of God who is Jesus Christ. God is represented as one divine being, yet is represented in view of three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Now I will not go much further on the topic of the Trinitarian view of God, so as not to over complicate matters. Still, at the center, there is Jesus Christ. We must develop within ourselves the ability to accept one another as followers of the same God, who was slain, and risen for the sake of humanity. Jesus Christ is the very foundation on which Christianity has been built. We worship Him in His birth, His burial, His death, and His resurrection. We are the Church, which is described as the Body of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we fall subject to the same fabric of existence that Jesus Himself was part of. We must undergo a birth, a death, a burial, and so to a resurrection. Jesus did not come merely to be born and to die. He came to lead us, in the form of an example, through His very life. He came to show us the way. He came to reveal to us the truth. He cam to bring us life.
So, let us find common ground to meet upon. May that common ground be the Rock of your salvation. Jesus Christ!
May the Lord bring you peace. May the Lord find reason to smile upon you and spring forth new life in you!
In Testament of His Love,
CRaFt4Christ!
